Professional Work

While working with M3 design group i was offered an opportunity to take part in the renovation of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Due to a lack of accurate plans the dome needed to be surveyed for its existing conditions. With a team of leading architects and engineers from around the world we experimented with laser scanning, point clouds, open source software, autodesk recap, and other recently developed programs before finalizing a workflow that allowed us to compare point cloud data to bim models built from the original plans.
